You are an angel!
Dear Barbara,
I am sorry that this can't be a longer, more formal letter, but our lives are chaotic right now, as you will understand. I am writing to express our family's gratitude to you and your organization for acting so quickly, and in such a Herculean way, to get our dad moved to your hospice facility in just a matter of hours. Very impressive! You really showed the compassionate spirit in all of your dealings with dad and with us, his family, for those several hours that we were together. You were focused on our immediate needs and worked diligently and creatively to get to a quick resolution that evening. I was sorry that dad didn't live long enough to enjoy your facility, but you definitely made a difference in his last few days. He was grateful for all of your effort, and that of the others involved that afternoon, to find a suitable place for him. We are comforted by the fact that he didn't die alone, at home, in his chair, unable to move or even call for help. This was a much better end - cleaned, fed, cared for, respected and treated humanely.
We can't thank you enough! You were an angel sent to us that day. God bless you!

Hi there, My name is Jacinthe. I wanted to email you about Barbara and what she’s been able to do for my family. My mom passed away suddenly in September and I’m an only child, my dad is getting worse with his health with Dimentia/alzheimers and Barbara came to meet me at the senior living and helped me with my dad and things I didn’t know I needed help with. She’s truly full of life, has the biggest heart, and without her I would be so lost with not knowing what or how to help my dad. She’s very honest, empathetic and like a fairy godmother lol! I wanted to let you know that she’s made my life and what I’ve gone through a little easier and not as stressful. I truly appreciate Barbara.
Thank you!

August 2023 - letter for Barbara Ball
I’m honored to offer this letter on behalf of Barbara. I met Barbara back in summer of 2015 at a dude ranch where we rode together. We became instant friends, and she offered a compassionate ear for my situation regarding my life circumstances at the time. Later that fall I was down on my luck and reached out to Barbara who opened up her home to me, while caring for her terminally ill brother and sister-in-law. As I spent time with her and her family, it became apparent to me that Barbara is a very tender soul who is uniquely intuitive with her fellow man. I witnessed Barbara go through heartbreak and hardship as she cared for her family during his impending death of her last surviving family member, her brother.

It never ceased to amaze me that with all of her heartbreak she never complained, was brave and put everyone else first. Above all I want to express that Barbara and I have remained close friends, actually more like family, during all of these years. I’d like to express that during the time I’ve known her, she remained upbeat serving others and demonstrated exceptional care and a high level of professionalism. I commend Barbara for her integrity as she is one of the most genuine people I’ve ever met. In closing, I want to state that my time within Barbara’s home was a life-changing and profound experience. I spent time with Barbara and her family members during those challenging weeks only to witness the example I needed to reach out to my estranged father and begin to heal our relationship. This is reflective of Barbara’s morals, values and character and I’m grateful we met.
I highly recommend her for her compassion, empathy and services to her fellow man.
